Our mission

The ZEACHILD brand stands for all environmentally conscious nature lovers, surfers, travelers and sea addicts. Since many conscious and motivated people already value "organic & sustainable", ZEACHILD is a great opportunity for you to achieve something good together and to take a step further into a future worth living. With our products, we pay particular attention to sustainability in fair and just production.

Sustainability

We only use certified textiles made from organic cotton and/or recycled polyester from PET bottles. We thus guarantee a resource-saving and environmentally friendly process for our products.

Print-on-demand

At Zeachild, we place top priority on the sustainable and resource-saving manufacture of our products.
We "print on demand" - that means every item is only made to order and individually for you. This enables us to prevent rejects and avoid high storage costs.

For the love of the sea

That's not all, we not only pay attention to an environmentally friendly process during the production process, but also afterwards. That's why we donate 10% of the profits to marine conservation organizations and are happy to get our hands dirty with various beach cleanups.

Certificates

GOTS:
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognized as the world's leading standard for the processing of textiles made from organically produced natural fibers. It defines environmental requirements along the entire textile production chain at a high level and at the same time demands compliance with social criteria.

OCS Blended:
Specific criteria for OCS Blended Standard: "Blended" means that a mixture of organically grown and conventional cotton is used for production. A minimum of 5% organically grown materials is required for this standard.

OCS 100:
The seal was issued by Textile Exchange, formerly Organic Exchange. It verifies that a final product contains the amount of organically grown materials, but does not regulate the use of chemicals and does not include social criteria. The OCS 100 replaces the OE 100 standard.

Oeko-Tex Standard 100:
Tested according to Öko-Tex Standard 100 (also Oeko-Tex Standard 100) means that the product has been tested for a total of 100 harmful substances, optical brighteners or similar. This applies not only to the outer fabric, but also to all other components of the product.

Global Recycled Standard:
The GRS is a voluntary product standard for tracking and verifying the percentage of recycled materials in an end product. The standard applies to the entire supply chain and addresses traceability, environmental principles, social requirements, chemical content and labeling.

Zeachild Foundations

Far too often during a trip you see stretches of beach covered with rubbish. Let's work together to protect the sea and use our habitat sustainably!
With this in mind, we donate 10% of our profits to The Ocean Cleanup
and Whale & Dolphin Conservation.

From Trash to Treasure

Sport fashion made from 100% recycled fishnets from the sea, made in Italy.
For every 10.000 tons of raw material, 70.000 tons of crude oil are saved and 57.100 tons of CO2 emissions avoided. Also in relation to climate change, the recycled nylon achieves up to 90% less damage on global warming than conventional nylon process.

FOUNDER

Even as a child I loved to romp around outside, jump into the river next door and watch the fish. My enthusiasm for nature and underwater life were the building blocks for a sustainable lifestyle. I would like to share this with you and improve the critical conditions of our oceans on behalf of Zeachild. #spreadlovenottrash
